Based in Santa Rosa, Nina Laramore serves as The Fontayne Group’s media relations specialist. She also is the principal of Laramore Communications, specializing in hospitality and tourism clients.
The former Public Relations Manager for the Sonoma County Tourism Program, she has developed public relations plans for many businesses and organizations including those for SCTP, Canine Companions for Independence, University of Maryland - Asian Division and McDonald’s Corporation. News materials development included press kits, press releases, public service announcements and crisis communication plans. Responsible for managing a public relations program that resulted in more than 8 million dollars in equivalent advertising value press coverage. Produced broadcast b-roll and video news releases.
Nina is an expert media relations facilitator, and has created and escorted numerous press trips for individuals and groups. Responsible for implementing multi-day travel writer visits for more than 50 individuals. Worked extensively with broadcast media including shows on CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, The Discovery Channel and the Food Network. Individual shows included Dateline, Burt Wolf’s Travel and Traditions, Food Nation, Evening Magazine, Mornings on 2 and Bay Area Backroads. Achieved print coverage in hundreds of newspapers, magazines and books including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times and the Washington Post.
