TSUNAMI VICTIMS RELIEF & RECOVERY
The following organizations and programs are among those accepting donations in support of the tsunami victims. Some are tourism-related and others are more general NGOs with a track record in south Asia. (Rest assured, these are all bona fide organizations!) With the logistical challenges of delivering goods to the affected regions, cash is the best and most flexible form of contribution you can make at this time.

Just a Drop
The International Institute for Peace Through Tourism adopted the "Just a Drop" program as its official charity several years ago. This program focuses on providing clean water and sanitation for children and their families in the developing world.
Sarvodaya Sarvodaya
is the Sanskrit word for "awakening for all." This Sri Lankan grass roots organization, founded on the non-violent principles of Buddhism, has been working in thousands of villages for the past 40 years, without regard to ethnicity or religion.
